Willis

From Nashville to Bay Shore

This unique musical event features the inspiring story of a lifelong musician's opportunity to collaborate and create with some of Nashville's finest songwriters and session musicians.  Peter Willis Kletchka, on the invitation of friend and producer Don Miggs, flew to Nashville in August of 2025 for a whirlwind four day writing and recording session at Miggs’ Canyon Private Studios.  In an environment that featured instruments and equipment owned and used by the likes of Billy Gibbons(ZZ Top), Aretha Franklin, Roy Orbison and Jimi Hendrix; resumes that listed work with Dolly Parton, Steven Tyler, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Bob Seger and many others, Kletchka found himself facing an exciting challenge in which every second of his decades of experience would be called upon.  “Pete, you just played with the New York Yankees!" was how one friend responded when told about the experience. The result is a rollicking three song EP now referred to as “Willis.”.  The songs display lyrical authenticity with well crafted arrangements, world class performances and crisp, clean production.

The event on March 7, 2026 will feature live performances of original songs by all four songwriters from the “Willis.” project as well as a retrospective on this extraordinary journey from Nashville to Bay Shore.

Peter Willis Kletchka was born in Bay Shore, NY and began his musical career at 21 years old. Adopting the stage name “Uncle Petey”, he forged a local musical career that spans several decades. From solo acoustic performances to playing in popular bands such as Three Chord Monty(1996-2000) and Rich Mahogany(2006-present), Kletchka never ceased his endless pursuit of performing in front of audiences. In August of 2025, that grit and determination payed off when childhood friend and music producer Don Miggs offered him an opportunity to write and record original songs with a group of seasoned professionals in Nashville. A whirlwind four day studio session resulted in what is now referred to as “Willis.”.  His is an inspirational story that emphasizes the quote “The only thing that stands between you and your dream is the will to try and the belief that it is actually possible”.

His credits include everyone from Dolly Parton to Steven Tyler but his favorite part of the “job” is still creating songs with people he loves and that includes  Pete Kletchka, Jeff Middleton and Justin Klump.
